Day of Dermal Filler Treatment

  • Arrive with your face clean and freshly washed, bare face.

  • Topical numbing cream will be applied to reduce the discomfort of the injections.

  • After injection of the dermal filler, it is very important that you do not touch the treated areas to avoid infection.

  • Swelling and bruising and tenderness are considered normal after treatment.

  • You may gently apply ice or gel pack to the treated area, being careful not to press too hard on the treated area.

  • Keep the skin clean where injected. Do not apply make-up for the remainder of the day.

  • Avoid excessive heat and vigorous exercise for the first 24hrs after the procedure.

  • When you wash your face, try to avoid pressing firmly over the area(s) treated for the next few days until the filler has settled.
